You get uncomfortable and then you just push it away. You read the news, "Oh, what a pity. I thought this kind of thing only happened in the city." You see them suffer, your heart grows hard. You call up the papers and tell 'em: "Not in my backyard!"
Where will you go when you've got nothing left to lose? Where will you go when you've got nothing left to turn to? It's time for you to take some action: show some fucking compassion.

If you could see me now you would be disappointed. I've been circling the drain, I don't think I could explain how I have squandered near everything that I've been given (and it's only getting worse). If you could see me now, I think you'd be impressed. I've addressed the distress that's made my life a mess: I've finally given up, I've given in, given all. and now I acquiesce: I don't think my life could ever get much better.
